Annual Seedling Sale 2024

Start your garden with NCF’s home-grown and hardy seedlings. Our seedling sale this year is on Saturday May 18th and Sunday May 19th from 12-3pm. We’ll have over 90 varieties of vegetable, herb, and flower seedlings for sale, along with Vermont Compost Company potting soil and soil amendments. Our gardening experts will be on hand to answer all your gardening questions.

Volunteering

Our seedling sale is only made possible by our many dedicated volunteers. We’re looking for volunteers to help setup on Friday and Saturday morning along with volunteers to staff the sale and help with cleanup.

Parking

Street parking is available on the farm side of Winchester and Nahanton streets

Pricing

All seedlings are $6 per pack that they are started in, either a 6-pack, 4-pack, or 4” pot depending on the type of plant. Starting in 2024, we are charging $1 per carrying tray.  You can also bring your own cardboard boxes to carry out seedlings in lieu of buying a tray.

We will have soil and amendments available from the Vermont Compost Company. 20 quart bags of Compost + are $25.50, and 60 quart bags of Perennial Blend potting soil are $45.

Payment

We accept cash, check with identification, credit card, SNAP, and HIP. View our list of seedlings to see which seedlings are eligible for EBT payment.
