Newton Community Farm celebrated our 10th Harvest in 2016 with a reception and dinner hosted by Mount Ida College in Newton.

Speakers at the event included President Barry Brown of Mt. Ida College; Roz Kreizenbeck from Historic Newton; Becka Smillie, an NCF founding member; Ilene Bezahler of Edible Boston; Alison Scorer, Education Coordinator at NCF;  and Greg Maslowe, Farm Manager and founding farmer.
Peter Barrer, former NCF Board President, was master of ceremonies and Stephanie Cogen, current Board President, offered closing remarks.  Margaret and Ken Mallory presented photographs from ten years of the farm’s history.
