Harvest Festival a Success!

Thank You for Making the 2011 Harvest Festival a Success!

We had a wonderful day, with approximately 900 people visiting the farm for the afternoon!  Guests enjoyed the farm produce and other items for sale, delicious food and baked goods, lively music, engaging activities for children, farm tours with NCF’s knowledgeable interns, and other activities.

THANK YOU to the dedicated volunteers who gave hours of their time to make the event a success.  You were a great team!

THANK YOU, too, to the following organizations and individuals for lending resources, providing food, publicizing the event, and entertaining the crowds:

Chipolte, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Haley House, Finally Friday, Maddie Welch from Music & Movement, Julia Priest, Allendale Farm, New Art Center, Nick Lake, Mayor’s Office, Newton Farm Commission, Newton Tab, Newton Patch, Boston.com, Zvents, Newton PTO Council, Green Decade Newton, Newton Conservators, NewtonMamas Blog, Julia Talcott, Girl Scout Troop 7-3450.

Thanks for supporting the 2011 NCF Dinner at Lumiere!
A special thank you to Chef Levitan and his staff at Lumiere for hosting a delicious, elegant, and relaxing dinner event.  The proceeds from this event will help support NCF’s education and outreach programs, including donations to the Newton Food Pantry. Thanks, too, to everyone who attended the dinner and to the volunteers who helped organize the event.
