Newton Community Farm is seeking a dynamic Director of Administration and Programs to be responsible for the successful administration of NCF and its educational/community/DEI outreach programs.

Key duties of this leadership position include administration, fundraising, event management, public engagement, marketing, community outreach, education, staff and volunteer supervision, financial performance and viability, governance, and other initiatives as needed. The position reports directly to the president of the board of directors and works closely with the board on strategic planning. The position also closely collaborates with the farm manager on administrative aspects of farm operations, produce distribution, and some educational programs.

Come to our farm stand! We're on Winchester Street near the intersection with Nahanton Street in the little red shed. You'll find lots of fresh veggies, herbs, and fruit from NCF plus other local farms. We're open today until 6 pm and tomorrow 9:30 am-1 pm.

Every year since our inception, NCF has donated a portion of what we grow to local nonprofits helping to mitigate food insecurity in our community. This year, we will contribute at least 10% of our produce to @newtonfoodpantry @newtoncommunityfreedge and @bostonareagleaners as well as donating seedlings to local farms and gardens. We are so grateful for the financial support from The Rebecca Pomroy Foundation, The Hamilton Company Charitable Foundation, and @brookline.bank . Thank you for helping us provide local, nutritious vegetables, herbs, and fruit for our neighbors in need.
